Occupational Therapy or "OT" improves a person's motor and sensory skills so they can participate in everyday activities and become as independent as possible.
Speech Therapy focuses on communication skills by helping people who have difficulty with drinking/swallowing, speech production, fluency, reading and understanding, and using language.
Physical Therapy, commonly referred to as “PT”, helps to improve an individual’s gross motor development which involves a person’s larger, stronger muscle groups.
New Audiologist: Kalley Ellis - CDC has partnered with EHDI (Wyoming's Early Hearing Detection and Intervention Program) to bring an Audiologist that will focus on pediatrics on to the team. The Audiologist will host clinic days throughout the month for children 0-21 years of age at CDC Therapy Services as well as will travel around the state providing community outreach on early hearing detection in community hospitals, other child development centers, etc. CDC Therapy Services will also be able to fit hearing aids and provide monitoring of hearing aids.
At the Child Development Center, we want to show that it's the littlest things and the biggest hearts that make all the difference in the world.
