FNP Amanda Harwell CDC+ Quick Care

Meet Amanda Harwell, CDC+ Quick Care’s Newest Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)

At the Child Development Center, we believe local care should mean the highest level of expertise. That’s why we are thrilled to introduce the newest member of our Quick Care team, a certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) who is passionate about serving the Casper community.

A lifelong resident and proud graduate of Casper College, Amanda brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to compassionate, high-quality care for families across all stages of life.

From Acute Care to Family Care: A History of Dedication

Before advancing her practice to become an FNP, our new team member dedicated over 16 years to the Emergency Department at Wyoming Medical Center.

Working as a Registered Nurse in acute and critical care provided extensive, high-stakes experience that is now being channeled directly into our Quick Care services. This background ensures that every patient, from infants to adolescents, benefits from a professional who understands comprehensive, high-quality care, even for immediate needs.

Driven by a commitment to advancing her practice, she pursued additional education to become a certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Her professional focus remains centered on delivering high-quality, compassionate care to individuals and families—a perfect fit for the CDC’s mission.

Local Roots, Trusted Care

Building trust starts with understanding the community, and few know Casper like our newest FNP.

She enjoys spending time with her husband of 16 years—her junior high school sweetheart—their three children, and the family dog, Loki. They can often be found traveling together or hosting game nights with loved ones.

This deep local connection and focus on family life perfectly aligns with the values of the CDC. When you bring your child to CDC+ Quick Care, you are trusting your family to a clinician who is also a neighbor, a parent, and a professional dedicated to the well-being of the Natrona County community.

This expertise means you can trust the care you receive is informed, prompt, and compassionate.
