Feb. 18 – PATH: Importance of Tummy Time

Instructors: Becky and Sydney

0-6 Months

Make tummy time fun for your little one! We will discuss fun ways to get your child to tolerate being on their tummy and different positioning ideas to help strengthen their core and shoulder muscles that will enable them to crawl and hit all of the important fine and gross motor milestones along the way. This will be an interactive session so bring your baby with you (we will provide dolls for expecting parents to practice the positioning skills). Handouts will be provided explaining the importance of tummy time. The use of modern baby gear and equipment will also be discussed. Bring any questions you have about your child’s development and join us for a fun-filled evening!
