Walk-Ins Now Welcome: How CDC+ Quick Care Is Helping Close the Care Gap for Families

Families across our community know the challenge all too well: your child needs care, but appointments are hard to find, wait times are long, and urgent care or the ER can feel overwhelming for non-emergency needs. This growing care gap leaves parents stuck between waiting it out or seeking care that may not be designed with kids and teens in mind.

That’s where CDC+ Quick Care comes in.

Walk-Ins Are Now Welcome

To make care even more accessible, CDC+ Quick Care is now welcoming walk-in visits, making it easier for families to get help when they need it most. While appointments are still encouraged, many families can now walk in and be seen the same day, without the long waits or added stress.

Prefer to plan ahead? Parents can also book appointments online in seconds, giving families flexibility and peace of mind.

Bridging the Care Gap for Kids, Teens, and Young Adults

CDC+ Quick Care was created to help close the gap in pediatric and youth-focused care. Serving children, teens, and young adults ages 3 months to 21 years, the clinic offers a comfortable, kid-centric environment with providers who understand the unique needs of growing patients.

By offering same-day care, short wait times, and a wide range of services, CDC+ Quick Care gives families a reliable option when primary care isn’t available, and the ER isn’t necessary.

A Wide Range of Quick Care Services

CDC+ Quick Care offers much more than treatment for sniffles and sore throats. Services include:

  • Minor illness treatment for colds, flu, fevers, sore throats, ear infections, rashes, and more
  • Minor injury care for bumps, scrapes, cuts, and bruises with no obvious deformity
  • Sports and Special Olympics physicals to help kids and teens get cleared quickly and affordably
  • Blood work and labs through outpatient lab services
  • IV fluids for gentle, fast rehydration
  • Radiology and imaging referrals, including X-rays when needed
  • Rapid testing and prescriptions for COVID-19, Flu, RSV, and Strep

Every service is designed to deliver fast, friendly, stress-free care—without unnecessary delays.
