The Child Development Center of Natrona County is expanding its services to include a more expansive audiology program. Leading this program is Kalley Ellis, AuD, CCC-A. Kalley is a certified Pediatric Audiologist, the only one in the county and one of only a few in the state!
Services include newborn hearing screenings, diagnostic evaluation, hearing aid services, follow-up testing and more.
Additionally, the Child Development Center will be providing training opportunities for other CDC locations, as well as equipment checks.
With partnerships with WyCHAP, WY Early Hearing Detection and Intervetion, Wyoming Hands & Voices, and other programs across the state, CDC will provide more support to families who have a child with hearing loss. CDC will be able to test hearing and fit hearing aids for children in-house, at its main site, making the process easier for parents that struggle with traveling out-of-state.
A key factor in the development of children is the ability to hear the world around them. We’re doing more through partnerships and hiring professionals to make that happen.
• Early screening and detection
• Fit hearing aids and monitor them
